September is finally here and that means that we can officially start getting into sweater weather, I'm looking at YOU Atlanta temperatures. I've already officially started Vlogtember over on my YouTube channel and I've got so many exciting things coming up for this month. But August is over so it's time to show you all the things that made my August.
August was the last full month of summer and honestly as happy as I am for summer, fall means football, hoodies, and my 23rd birthday! It's only fitting that I spent a ton of time in the pool and you could almost always find me in a bikini of some sort. My favorite are literally just some basic white or black bikinis.
Ariana Grande hasn't always been my favorite when it comes to releases but Sweetener is honestly so fucking good. There are so many songs on there that I wasn't expecting to like and I've been playing it almost nonstop in the car with my friends when we go out.
One thing someone probably should never do is challenge me on something I know I can do. My friend inadvertently challenged me by saying I couldn't eat tacos every day. Me being me, I ate tacos every day for an entire week last month. Even ordering this exact same order from Deep End twice in one week.
Pina Coladas were the first drink I was excited to try. For lunch one day with some friends we headed to Negril Village and I ordered probably the biggest Pina Colada I've ever had made with one of my favorite rums, Brugal 1888. It just has such a good flavor and now that I have a developed palate, it's even more enjoyable.
August meant Keeping Up With the Kardashians was FINALLY back!! For those of you who don't know, I love the Kardashain-Jenner girls and I've been watching KUWTK since season one. I know some people don't like the Kardashians but honestly, they run some damn good businesses and it's always entertaining to watch.
Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to get into a book between being sick and working on my re-brand so August will definitely have some more book content coming to the blog. See you next month!
